Requirements
Grade 12 certificate, food and beverage certificate is an advantage. Have 3-5 years food service experience in a hospital environment.Must be computer literate. Be able to work under pressure. Be prepared to work shifts, including public holidays and weekend. Good communication, numerical, leadership, problem solving, organising and supervisory skills.
Duties
Supervise all activities in the food service unit, all staff in the food production, distribution and serving areas. Ensure hygiene and safety measures are applied. Ensure that equipment is in good working order and it is used effectively. Responsible for ordering, receiving, storage, stock control and stock taking. General administration of personnel which contribute to an efficient and effective office environment. Responsible for completing monthly statistics and reports. File documentation accurately.
