Requirements
Grade 12 or equivalent qualification. Three years food service experience. Knowledge and understanding of production and Human Nutrition processes. Knowledge of therapeutic diets. Good communication skill, ability to read and write. Knowledge of hygiene and safety. Must be able to work shifts and public holidays. Knowledge of PFMA and supply chain processes and procedures.
Duties
Stock Control: receive stock, storage and issuing following procurement guidelines. Responsible for internal stock requisitions. Monitor supply chain management procedures. Manage food preparation, portion control and serving of food. Responsible for customer care and responding to queries. Performing Human Resource internal duties eg: overtime forms, leave management etc. Must participate in new staff induction, staff training and discipline. Assist with execution of functions and events planning. Responsible for safety and hygiene in the unit, reporting of faulty equipments. Supervising diet kitchen and responsible for infection control. Maintain Human Nutrition set policies and procedures and relevant administrative duties.
