Requirements:BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Matric or Grade 12 qualification. Computer literate. Customer Care certificate or experience in customer care service in health establishment. Knowledge of Batho Pele Principles and Patients’ Rights Charter. COMPETENCIES: Queue management. Basic writing skills. Ability to capture data. Recording and Monitoring of waiting times. Ability to interact with all level of management, staff and mostly patients. Strong interpersonal relations. Good writing and verbal skills .Experience of working in health department will be an added advantage. INHERENT REQUIREMENTS: should be presentable. Time conscious. To be empathetic and sensitive to people’s needs. Be approachable, polite and understanding. Be diligent and helpful. Maintain confidentiality.
Duties:Welcoming of clients. Managing and controlling of queues. Sorting and educating clients. Giving directions to clients. Informing clients about prevailing situation. Reporting any deviation in the Health Minister’s Six Priorities. Record and Monitor waiting times accurately. Control and maintain order in waiting areas. Identify systems to reduce waiting times and communicate to Standard Compliance Manager.
