Post:ADMINISTRATION CLERK (TRANSPORT)
Salary:R131 658 per annum (plus benefits)
Requirements:Grade 12. Diploma in Fleet Management with experience in Government Transport policies, Prescripts and procedures will be an advantage. Knowledge: of Public Finance Management Act, Transport Circular no 4 of 2000 and Transport Circular 5 of 2003 Skills: Computer Literacy, Microsoft word, excel and ELS system Organizational and communication skills Good interpersonal relations and responsibility. Creativity: Problem solving, ability to provide guidance to internal and external clients A valid driver’s license
Duties:Issue government vehicles according to unit planned trips, ensure correctness of allocations and conduct weekly vehicle inspections on ELS system. Identify and report irregularities or problems. Monitor the implementation of Departmental policies, Procedures, Processes and internal control mechanisms with regard to GG vehicles. Ensure monthly processing of trip sheets and filing. Responsible for the effective functioning of all vehicles. Do basic calculations, compile statistics, write submissions and handle correspondence pertaining to Transport function. Compile monthly report for GG vehicles. Monitor and verify logbook irregularity.
