ADMINISTRATION CLERK: SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT (E-Procurement) Directorate: Supply Chain Management SALARY : R132 399 per annum
CENTRE : Head Office, Cape Town
REQUIREMENTS : Minimum educational qualifications: Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with Accounting and/or Mathematics as a passed subject and/or Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with experience/competencies that focuses on the Key Performance Area (KPA’S) of the post.
Experience: Experience in Supply Chain Management practices or systems management/implementation. Inherent requirement of the job: Valid (Code B/EB) driver’s licence.
Competencies (knowledge/skills): Computer literacy (MS Office: Word and Excel). Knowledge of Western Cape Suppliers Database. Knowledge of e-procurement systems – Integrated Procurement System (IPS). Conversant with the Department’s procurement prescripts. Ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal) in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape.
High level of excellence in accurate data capturing and recording. Excellent human relations abilities and telephone skills. Note: No payment of any kind is required when applying for this post. DUTIES : Key Result Areas/outputs: Provide sufficient and appropriate training to institutions regarding systems and related reporting requirements. Assist and support institutions and suppliers with the registration of suppliers on the Western Cape Suppliers database. Assist and support institutions and suppliers with the Integrated Procurement (IPS) system enquiries. Ensure regular monthly circulation of all Departmental adjudication statistics. Represent the Department at the monthly systems meeting with Provincial Treasury and Ariba. On-going reporting on Systems and Western Cape Supplier Database matters.
